About GATE:-
Gate 2020, all the notifications have been released. This examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). The GATE exam will be held in 2020, dates of which have been announced by IIT Delhi that will be the exam conducting authority for Gate exam 2020. Gate exam 2020 will be held on February 1, 2, 8 and 9 next year. However, the online registration for Gate exam 2020 has been started from August 31, 2019, and the last date to apply for it is September 28. Gate exam 2020 registration will be an online process and will last till September 28 without a late fee and October 5 with the late fee.
GATE exam (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is a computer-based standardized test conducted at the national level in India with an aim to examine the understanding of various engineering and science undergraduate subjects. In the last couple of years, the GATE exam has been opened to international students from the following countries as well
- Bangladesh
- Nepal
- Sri Lanka
- Ethiopia
- United Arab Emirates

Gate Exam Eligibility:-
The following students are eligible to take the GATE exam –
- Bachelor’s degree students in Final Year of Engineering / Technology / Architecture (4-year program after 10+2) programs
- Master’s degree students Final Year in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent
Pre-final year students are not eligible to appear in GATE exam. There is no age limit for students eligible to appear in GATE exam.
