Department of Education has provided the NEC scholarship 2019 online registration form for the North Eastern Region students to complete their higher professional study. Through this scholarship the team members of the department supporting all the eligible students of the North Eastern Region.

Eligibility Criteria for the Scholarship:-
- Applying candidates must be the permanent residence of states in the North East.
- candidates must possess the relevant qualifications from a well-organized institution or university.
- For general candidates the max. mark is 55%.
- For sc/st candidates the mark is 50%.
- In service, aspirants are not covered by this scheme.

Selection Process of the Scholarship:-
After proper advertisement and following selection procedure as outlined at Annexure V, the Selection of the aspirants for Diploma level upwards will be made by the State Government.

- First, all the applicants check all the eligibility criteria which are mention above.
- After that, go to the official departmental website of the NEC Scholarship (megeducation.gov.in).
- On the home page find the “State Scheme” tab and a new page appear on your screen then ‘click it’.
- After that, a notification will appear regarding NEC Scholarship.
- After that click on the “Apply” link”.
- After that fill the application form carefully and upload all the documents which are required.
- Finally, take a print for future use.
